The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

The Compliance Officer reports to the SVP of Compliance and is responsible for being the primary compliance resource for our Operations teams to promote and ensure compliance with applicable consumer lending laws and regulations and managing the regulatory compliance process. The Compliance Officer is a compliance professional who provides effective risk management advice and oversight to Operations in connection with servicing consumer and small business credit card programs.

Responsibilities

As our Compliance Officer, you will:

  • Understand credit card loan acquisition and servicing activities for the development and maintenance of strong operational controls targeted at mitigating compliance risk assessed with various processes throughout the business lines
  • Provide second-line independent oversight and guidance regarding Operations business products, services, and processes through a compliance framework to ensure they are executed in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Partner with the Operations business line management in developing policies, procedures, processes, standards, customer communications and marketing materials that meet regulatory requirements
  • Identify and monitor relevant regulatory updates and compliance trends to identify potential upstream risks and issues and partners with business line management to identify solutions and risk mitigation strategies
  • Communicate compliance concerns timely and effectively to business line management and to Compliance leadership
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations applicable to our loan servicing business.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years professional work in the financial services industry in banking compliance, audit, or legal.
  • CRCM certification, preferred
  • Knowledge of consumer compliance regulations and risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated track record of execution and results
  • Ability to solve problems based on strong analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent decision making, problem-solving and judgment skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
