The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

You’ll be working with our Product Owners and Business Owners to develop detailed business use cases and user stories for the delivery team.  This position requires collaborating with various technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality process documentation of business and functional requirements, assist in developing business cases, and assess impact and business readiness. Clear and thorough documentation of information is a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

As our Business Analyst, you will:

  • Develops and/or maintains product documentation and understands how the processes relate to other areas of the business (E.g., user flows, use cases, and business process diagrams)
  • Organize and facilitate business ideas' development into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Assist in writing user stories for the technical backlog, doing so in such a manner that adequately conveys to the technology team the different features, requirements, and acceptance criteria of a solution.
  • Analyze and evaluate business and/or system processes and highlight opportunities for efficiencies, offering solutions.
  • Write and maintain User Acceptance Testing use cases for a given solution, executing these test cases, documenting the outcomes, and executing failures as appropriate.
  • Work closely with teams that include Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, QA Engineers, business stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to build strong partnerships across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries.
  • Proactive approach and communication to Product Owner, keeping them current with status, and quickly escalating issues to help remove barriers and find resolutions when needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ year’s professional experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering business change across large and small change initiatives.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience defining and documenting Themes, Epics, and User Stories.
  • Experience with business process improvements and methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing – writing and executing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written); ability to discuss technical topics with a non-technical audience.
  • Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possess business and technology acumen and have the ability to work closely with all levels of employees and management.
  • Financial services industry experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
