We’re seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to help deliver our next generation software solutions. The ideal candidate is a forward and innovative thinker, experienced with transformative projects and has a successful track record working collaboratively with cross-functional team members. A delivery focus with experience in multiple technology stacks who is able to present different solutions/approaches to solve problems. Practical experience creating Service Oriented Architectural solutions and the ability to mentor team members are key skills. The ability to thrive within the Agile framework and contributing ways to constantly improve the practice is desired. 

Responsibilities

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, secure, efficient, scalable, and reusable code which always protects customer privacy and confidentiality.
  • Be responsible for the quality of code delivered.
  • Act in a lead role partnering with architects and Scrum team members to drive technical decisions in projects
  • Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyzing code to identify areas for modification, as well as, maintain and support existing products.
  • Provide input on our architecture, databases, and APIs.
  • Consult with product managers to define, scope and plan new features.
  • Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced.
  • Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve our overall solutions.
  • Be a key participant in our agile development framework.
  • Produce complete and coherent documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical applications.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of the application development process; including User Story elaboration, technical design, coding, deployment leadership, and the creation of documentation. Agile/Scrum experience highly desired.
  • 5+ years of development experience delivering scalable full stack solutions utilizing some of the following technologies: C#, .NET Core, React, Vue, or AngularJS, SQL Server, Cosmos database. Azure  DevOps experience highly desired.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering Service Oriented Architectural solutions on either AWS or Azure.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of these technologies is desired: Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Transactional queues, Data Lake.
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems including Azure CI/CD.
  • Excellent, demonstratable written and oral communications skills required.
